Household Recycling Centres

You can take household waste to one of Gloucestershire County Council’s Household Recycling Centres. They are free to use but require advance booking and all are for household waste only.

Car bookings

You will need to book an appointment here before visiting and select a time slot.

Van, pick up and trailer bookings

You will need to book a different appointment if you are using a van, pick up or trailer (over 6ft x 4ft). This is to stop the centres being used for trade waste.

What you can and cannot take

For details of opening hours and what you can and cannot take as well as how to recycle paint, chemicals, tyres and gas cylinders visit the Gloucestershire Recycles website.

If you need to dispose of small amounts of asbestos you will need to order bags from Gloucestershire County Council before bringing it to the recycling centre. For large amounts you should employ a licensed asbestos contractor.
