Donate to the Cumbria Flood Fund
Following the devastating floods that have hit Cumbria, the Mayor of Tewkesbury Borough Cllr Mark Williams has written to the Mayor of Allerdale Cllr John Armstrong and the Mayor of Tewkesbury Town Cllr Philip Workman has written to the Mayor of Cockermouth Cllr Stephen Coates to express their sympathies and those of the town and Borough.After the floods in 2007, residents in the Borough know only too well the pain suffered when unexpected flooding occurs.
Cumbria now has a massive recovery effort to face and a flood recovery fund has been set up to allow the public, businesses and organisations to help rebuild the lives and communities that have been affected.
